In it, Mr. Shier discusses his early use of palmtop computers in his previous career and even announces the formation of the new company.

Choosing the Correct Batteries for Your Handheld PC David Shier Appeared in Handheld PC Magazine in 1998. While the newer handheld computers are almost exclusively using rechargable battery packs, this article may prove useful for learning about the various battery technologies available.

This great site for "star gazer". It tells you where and when to look in the sky to see satellites that are visable to the naked eye! It also give you access to the most useful feature of the Iridium Satellites: "Iridium flares".

Exact time from USNO
The US Naval Observatory is the "master of time" for the USA. This web site provides the exact time by definition.

Weather Maps
The Space Science and Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is the best source we could find on the web for weather maps and other global images.

Google Search Engine
For many years we recommended the AltaVista Advanced Search page as our favorite search engine, and it's still one of the most complete. But, if you want to find something fast, Google is the most likely to get you to the right page on the first try!

The Oanda Currency Site
This site is the best source we found on the Web for currency conversion information.

Find the "FlightTracker" link on the Trip.com web site. This great feature allows you to track the progress of any airline flight over the continental USA on a moving map! It even shows the airspeed, altitude and direction of the airplane in flight! It's wonderful if you need to meet someone at the airport, or just for fun.

The Friedman Archives
Over the years, I have had the privilege to enjoy many of the photographs taken by my friend Gary Friedman, and now you can too. Gary has created this web site to offer his photos for licensed use or framed enlargements.
